The serious illness of a friend locally, and the recent death of another local acquaintance has given me perhaps a little perspective on my own life, and reminded me of that old saying "sticks and stones can break your bones...."
Many people in Glastonbury (and worldwide of course) believe that when we hold on to our anger and hatred, this in itself brings on disease within the human body and eats us from the inside out, which in many ways makes so much sense. The very anger of those constantly on the attack, is what often brings THEM down.
So how about we make March - the MONTH OF FORGIVENESS where we forgive those around us for all the hurt and pain they have caused us, and just send them love despite what they are doing, or have done, against us?
It is always a good feeling when you just let the anger go and begin to get on with what is really important in your life, so maybe with the new flowers of Spring popping up through the Earth, now is a great time to send out that forgiveness and love?
A few of you may be surprised by my change of heart after recent blog postings, but my own experiences in recent days and watching people around me with far worse problems then my own, have put me in a different frame of mind.
So here's the start of the compaign - I send out love and light to those attacking me, and hope you too will see your own light soon. I know some will not accept this forgiveness being offered and the shaking of the ethereal hand, but perhaps in time, you will see that this is the right way forward for all of mankind, for we are all judged eventually.
