Math in the Springtime

Jan 17, 2007 22:30

Well, well. It is day 2 of the Georgetown College SP07 semester. Yay?

As always, I shall present my awesome schedule. This schedule is my best yet, because it has no French, not even a little.

M-W-F 9-11-- Campus Mail work study
M-W-F 11-12-- Calculus for Business and Social Sciences
M-W-F 1-2-- Honors History from 1648
M-W-F 3-4-- Tiger Bands work study
M-W-F 4-5-- Tiger Bands
-T-R- 8-9-- Music Appreciation (w/Dr. Pete)
-T-R- 9:30-10:45-- Psychology w/Honors Increment
-T-R- 12:45-2-- Theatre History (w/Dathan)
----- ---- Practicum in Theatre (50+ hours)

Look at that. Just take it all in. The extra work is nice, though. Speaking of money, George stopped by Campus Mail this morning and asked me if I "could use some grant money". I can always use grant money, especially when it's free. This is also interesting because just the other day I mentioned to Wes that I need to start writing up grants for myself. "So you'd type up this huge grant proposal entitled 'Why I'm Awesome'?" he said. "Yes, exactly," I replied. As you can see, I've done Wes one better. People simply recognize how awesome I am and give me grant money.

This whole "math" thing concerns me a little. You may recall that I have, in the past, communicated my distrust of numbers. It is a bit soon to make any judgment about the class, but I have a feeling it will replace French as my least favorite subject.

On the other side of things, I spend time everyday working with Dr. Pete, which is cool. Be sure to click that link, it is, as Dr. Pete calls it, a "must see". In addition to all the musical awesomeness, I'll be spending a large portion of my time on theatre studies and application.
