So, I assume for most of you the Fall Semester is over. Mine should be. Yet, somehow it isn't. You see, I still have to turn in my final Ethics paper (for honors credit). Can I bs ten pages? Will I go insane before I get to Winter Break? Will I get a Winter Break? Find out next time!
Well... anyway. Yeah, I'm still working even after finals are technically over and I've had to leave the campus. I didn't bother going home, I knew I wouldn't be able to work on the paper after the drive. Instead I'm crashing at Uncle Steve's place in Georgetown tonight. On the plus side, I did recently find out that my (10+ page) paper isn't really due tonight. It is important that I have it in soon, but I don't have a specific time-line. I have close to 7 pages done as of right now, so things look up. I'll probably call it a night after I finish the sections I've started, so I'm not trying to philosophize on my own when I'm exhausted. Maybe I'll be able to get a little rest tonight and finish up in the morning. Yeah, that would be great, sleep... damn, now I want to.
The point of my rambling? None. I just needed a little break and decided to relate my epic to the public. I'm certain that since I'm trying to work on this paper after I've left campus that it will take me a week or more to get used to the idea that I'm done with classes. I'm also certain that all week I'll still be waking up in a cold sweat, sure that I have once again slept through an important exam. I never did that, but in my head it has happened every day of exams. Although, at least I don't think I'm
Darcy. Then again, I could be anyone when I wake up. Spider-Man, I hope.
"So you know that History paper on Utopia I did in one all-nighter last week?" -me
"Yeah. How did that go over?" -Andy
"I got a 98. He wrote me a note at the end saying, 'Excellent. Good organization. Arguments well supported. Good interpretation. Are you considering a History major/minor?' :)"
"... I hate you."
"I understand. It was the victory dance, wasn't it?"
Also, it is finally clear to me why so many businesses have done nothing to stop global warming. All along their aim was to ruin
Santa and the last earthly remnants of Christmas cheer and jolliness.
