wash away all I've done
1. I went home this weekend to help my parents take up the tile and paint the half-bath. Lots of hard work. And I managed to fall off a stepladder and wreck my back, along with my hip and shoulder. I am in PAIN and stayed out of work yesterday. We managed to get up the tile, most of the quick-set, and I got two coats of paint up on the walls.
2. Because I stayed out of work yesterday, I am INCREDIBLY BEHIND. And my boss is out until Friday afternoon which means either: a) I will have time to catch myself up; or b) I will be swamped with work that he would normally handle on top of my own stuff.
3. My mean grandmother has cancer. Kidney cancer - one has to come out and they have to do some testing on her other kidney and her bladder. I am conflicted about how to feel - I've always been conflicted about our relationship and am even more so now.
4. I think I'm going to get the allergy test done - the one with the needles. I've spent the last few weeks having throat issues and daily headaches and I suspect that there is something in the air here that is causing the problems.
5. I have found myself being obsessed with the news and current events lately. I'm not sure why.
