Life Update

Hello friends! I'm back! :) I'll cut to the chase & fill you in on all the craziness of the past year:

I'm starting my second year as a Pre-K 4-year-olds teacher a catholic school here in Lakeland. Last year was a very trying year, but I truly loved it and am extremely excited about teaching in familiar territory again. School started last Monday & I've lucked out with a fabulous group of kids again! 21 angels in all who are guaranteed to keep me on my toes at all times. :)

Lakeland is now my permanent home! I bought a duplex at the end of June, which I'm still in the process of unpacking & settling into. I absolutely love it though & if you ever need a place to crash in the central Florida area, feel free to call me up! The other half of the duplex, is going to be rented out as an "investment opportunity." I'm still in the process of getting it inhabitable (that place was NASTY!), but I hope to start making money off of it by next month.

I also have a dog now. Actually, it's my sister's dog that I am temporarily housing. And if you've ever had the pleasure of meeting Renegade you know just how much of a handful she can be! I'm not sure if I'll be a pet owner for a couple of weeks or a couple of years, but as crazy as that dog is, it's nice to have some company.

And yes, since I brought up company, I might as well tell you that there is still no change in the status of my personal life. It's still just me, but God's already hooked me up with an awesome job, a new car, and a house of my own, so I figure a man is the only thing that's still missing. ;-)

Hmmm, any other news...Oh yes! I had my Wisdom teeth removed yesterday. So far the recovery is going well & I hope it stays that way.

I guess that's the Cliff's Notes version of my life right now. I know it's lacking lots of details, but I just wanted to get you brought up to speed on me! If you're looking for my new address & phone number, just drop me a line & I'll be glad to share. Know that I love you all & miss you bunches. I pray that you are doing well wherever you are.

Movin' on up,
Jen
