Well, life has been rather interesting lately so I thought I would give an update about what all is going on. Last Thursday at practice I hit my left hand with the rifle because I over tossed a five, and now I have a severely sprained hand and thumb. One of the graduate assistants took me straight to the emergency room because it hurt so bad that I couldn’t stop crying, and they took v-rays then put a cast on my whole hand and arm. I am in the cast for 3 weeks, then I am going to have to wear a special brace for 2 weeks after that, and then go through physical therapy. Ashley picked me up after all that was over and we went to dinner together and packed for Clemson. Clemson was AWESOME this weekend…even though we lost the stupid football game! Friday night was fun because I got to see Zack! I miss that boy like crazy, but I was glad he got to meet all my FSU friends! Ashley, Marna, Kelly, Stephanie and I roamed the hotel all Friday night when we got there and we all just spent a lot of time just talking. Saturday morning we had continuity practice before the game and I broke down at the end of it. It is SOOO hard to sit there and watch all of your friends doing the thing you love the most and you not being able to join them. It kills me to know that I am out for the rest of the season because of ONE rifle toss! Everybody in Marching Chiefs is really helping me out by helping me make the best of the situation though by making jokes and giving me lots of hugs. The game sucked a big one, but by the 4th quarter we all faced the fact that we suck that that were going to lose the game and had fun being goofy in the stands. After the game I went to Macaroni Grill with Dawn, David, and Theresa then went back to have a fabulous hotel party with a bunch of people. It was a really fun night to say the least! ;o) Sunday we drove home and the bus ride was hilarious! Who knew such good laughs could come from the stupidest comments and all the different love couples! Ashley and I got dinner then watched out TV shows, and then David came over to hang out at the apartment. Monday I spent the day in doctor’s offices and Thagard for my hand…that sucked! They made me waste a day away and then didn’t even do anything for me! At least I got some really good pain medication out of it though! Ashley and I went to Margie’s TBS presentation after I got home then went to Wal-Mart for Christmas decorations! We ended up shopping till like 11:15 then decided to just wait till midnight so I could buy MADAGASCAR! In the extra 45 minutes we had, we decided that we are going to throw a huge Madagascar party! We bought invitations, plates, cups, decorations, blow toys, hats, and everything else they had, then we came home and watched the movie and wrote out invitations to give to people today! People were laughing their butts off at practice when we gave them out and telling us how lame we are, but everybody said they were coming so it should be fun! Anyways, Ashley and I are going to take down the Halloween decorations and put up Christmas so I guess I better get going! Peeeeeeace!
