Sadly, we never did make it to the Tabasco factory. We woke up that morning at 6:45am to thunder, torrential rain, and reports of flooding,so we opted to stay home.
We made up for it last week when we had a wonderful visit with Lightnin' and her family. We played tourist, drove all over town, and out to Barataria to visit the swamps and 'hunt' for alligators, we even had the opportunity to see two different parades in the French Quarter on Easter Sunday. Everyone had a great time!
