pre-season football
Thanks to our sweet friends (E & M, & J), we were given some free tickets to the Saints pre-season opener in the Superdome. There were four tickets available so we invited Ms. A & Ms. T. They both had to work that day and MA and I both had the day off. We spent the day romping in the French Quarter, had lunch, some drinks at a friend's house, and then a walked across the Quarter to downtown and into the Superdome. It was a lovely day and here are some highlights.
Even Good Friends was geared up for the game.

We couldn't figure out who his jersey represented...Pleming?? Then someone told us it was him....OH!! It was a vanity jersey...O.K.
These guys I have heard of...
So we had a nice time, a great day romping in the quarter, fun in the dome, the Saints won, we ran into some friends and even got a ride home from tripolarexpress. It was a really good time. But, for the money we spent at the concession stand, I could make jambalaya for 15. And at $7.50 for one crappy domestic beer, I really, really love and appriciate our little home arena on Ponce de Leon St.
