we need a True American rulebook

-- I put my name in the words and deeds love meme.

-- So I haven't really talked much about how much I love the show New Girl, but last night's episode, you guys. I can't even. I don't know when I ended up with New Girl feels, but boy howdy do I have some. Nick and Jess! Ugh the sexual tension between them is unbearable and that made last night's kiss SO SO GOOD. I think I SQUEAKED.

And the best part is that the whole episode was great, not just the kiss. TRUE AMERICAN. CLINTON RULES: PICK YOUR INTERN.

(Which reminds me, but BABE LINCOLN on Parks and Recreation an episode or two back was so, so great. Babe Lincoln.)

But honestly, I can't remember the last time that a kiss on a television show gave me so many feelings. It was flawless.

-- Justified! To be honest, this week's episode left me a little underwhelmed. I wasn't really invested in the Lindsey and Randall story line, though I appreciate that Lindsey at least had her own agenda and wasn't being dragged along by Randall like last week implied.

I did love seeing more Rachel. Even when she's helping Raylan with extracurriculars, she's still looking out for him.

But the most compelling story line of the episode was of course Ellen May and Ava. Ava tried so hard to actually send Ellen May free (even though you could tell that decision was bothering her, she knew that it was going to weigh on her and that she'd never stop worrying, but at the same time couldn't stand the thought of actually having a woman she'd protected killed.) And Colt's face when he got the call. I love how clear it was what he'd found out, and how that played against Ellen May talking about going home, and it was just so heartbreaking. AND THEN SHE WAS GONE. That was excellent.
