I debated whether I wanted to say anything about the current MCR drama at all, but that fandom has been dear to me for so long, it feels strange not to say anything. I think it's all super gross. Even if it's a best-case scenario and Mikey and Alicia were separated, I still think it's gross since the girl is showing her immaturity (and how much she craves attention) with all the shit she's been posting on the internet when a smart person would just keep silent. What are you thinking, Mikeyway? For anyone who's curious but has managed to avoid this mess, run-downs of it on tumblr can be found here and here. Or even here. So basically -- there's a lot we don't know, but what we do know is pretty bad. I honestly don't know if I want a response on it or not from Mikey/official sources, because... there's no way it's not icky on some level, especially if Lyn-Z, who presumably knows more about it than the internet, is so openly against it all. :/

I do however love how Frank did a twitter q&a with lots of adorable and heartfelt answers, like he's singlehandedly reassuring the fans that the entire band hasn't gone batshit. ♥

So yeah. Pretty happy that I finally broke down a while back and let myself be invested in other fandoms instead of just bandom, because I at least have enough distance that this isn't the end of my fannish world or anything. I'm really, really glad nothing like this came out in the heyday of bandom, because that was such a fun, perfect time.

In conclusion, I much prefer when My Chem have secret babies, not secret ladies.
