I no longer even have shame about it all.

It snowed tonight so I figured I'd make a post of things that fill me with happiness lately! :)

Panic! at the Disco's new song is utterly ridiculous and impossibly charming. I mean, I thought Nine in the Afternoon was ridiculous and charming. (In fact, the first time I heard that, I seriously thought that Panic! was just covering an obscure song by The Kinks or something. Also in that clip is "We're So Starving, which is just... goofy and catchy.) Then I watched When The Day Met the Night. Seriously, "when the moon fell in love with the sun, all was golden in the sky," and harmonizing words like "summer"and just... it's so happy. Apparently I no longer need to complain that music nowadays needs to be happier. ;) Also, I am refusing to acknowledge the whole dropping-of-the-! thing as I have a thing for punctuation in bandnames.

Also of the happy-making for me is still Cobra Starship. Their new bio is obviously just them writing their own fanfic. About themselves. COBRA-POV. And the gossip section of their site is glorious. The whole site is tacky as all get out. It's wonderful. Also, shamefully, I watched TRL the other day (which is like a form of specialized torture when you're no longer a teenybopper with a crush on Carson Daly, for the record) just because they were on it. I've fallen HARD.

Also! While I'm making a babbly happy band post. I heart Gerard Way and his earnest loveydoveyness.

This is actually me being circumspect with my glee. (I may be at the point where I'm giving up pretending this adoration is a short-lived crush.) Also, I have listened to this song an unholy amount, and figured I'd share. The Dresden Dolls - Mandy Goes to Med School.
