Owarimonogatari 1-8! continues Araragi's association with cute girls and the supernatural. The first episode focuses on the supposedly mysterious, but currently bland character that's shown up a few times in the past, Oshino's 'niece'. She has the dead look in her eye and talks in circles. She gets Araragi to remember a past memory with a childhood friend, Oikura. The confrontation between him and Oikura, and then her and Senjogahara was a fun type of intense. Eventually, Hanekawa and Ougi help Araragi solve the mystery of Oikura's past without much fanfare. The production quality wasn't as visually interesting as previous arcs nor was the story as special, but Araragi does get to confront a past memory and Ougi seems to hint towards more dark things. Episode 7 starts a new arc, Shinobu Mail. It's probably a good idea to look at the wiki page for this series as these story arcs are not in chronological order.

One Punch Man 1-8! wasn't on my list but there's plenty of positive buzz around this anime and I'm glad I started watching as it's one of the possibly the funniest show I've seen in a long time. An average, bald, young man, Saitama, looks for strong oppenents to fight. As the title suggests, he can take most opponents out in one punch. There are some ridiculous characters and dialogue in this show. The episodes are a little formulaic until episode 5 where Saitama and his android student, Genos, register at the Hero Association. Saitama's unassuming appearance places him in a low rank despite his abilities. While the Association and the rest of the world does not acknowledge him, Genos is able to witness his heroic acts. He continually stands by Saitama's side...and that's sweet.

Heavy Object 1! is as lame as the title. While a couple student mechanics are slacking off, they meet one of the Heavy Object female mech pilots. There is poor dialogue, the students like boobs, and the Heavy Objects are really badly designed war machines. Yeah, this is going in the trash pile.

High School Star Musical 1! wasn't on my list but the awful buzz looked interesting. A young boy starts at a new all-male performing arts school where the stars of the school are a terrible boy band. It's like Glee without the females. The young boy wants to dance and tries out for the Star Team. Yes, the terrible reviews were accurate.

Dance with Devils 1! is the musical anime that I was mildly interested in. It's not as terrible as High School Star Musical, but the songs are pretty terrible. A young girl gets caught up with bad vampires and pretty boys when her mother goes missing.

Concrete Revolution 1-2! features a mess of humans, super-humans, mech, magical girls, aliens, etc. Most of episode 1 takes place in the past where a young human boy with pink hair ropes a magical girl into helping him. She is recruited into his workplace, the Superhuman Bureau, to help them oversee the superhumans. In the present, he wants nothing to do with them. The production quality is quite high, and I like that it is super colorful. Episode 2 also jumps back and forth between the past and present focusing on another support character.

Gundam: Tekketsu no Orphans 1! Nope, just another dull Gundam series.
