Took another ride yesterday.
I'd been planning to visit an aunt and uncle who live in Oud-Beijerland,and I thought I'd combine this with taking another ride in my velomobile ( Read more... ) -
Took a little ride today.
After about 4 weeks of being less-than-fit I decided to get a bit more physical excercise.
So I took out the quest today and took a ride of almost 60 Km, only stopping once in Moerkapelle for some tea and a piss.
My goals for today were:- Go to the "source" of the river Rotte.
- Go to Gouda from there.
- Return home from Gouda.

Hit by a scooter
Exactly a week ago to date, May 14 2008, I was hit by a scooter.
It hit me almost frontally. 15 cm more to the left and I might not have been writing this journal entry.
It happened around here.

As mentioned in an earlier post of mine, it is a very rare occasion when I run into another velomobile while on my way to or from work.
