Point release
I thought I'd post something up here as its been a long time between updates. I've been writing more on my 'tech' blog lately (http://syndicated.livejournal.com/noisymime_blog/) so at least that proves that I haven't been completely dead to the world. For those interested in such things, I've begun work on a new project called Gloss which is an accelerated frontend for Mythtv. Details are on the blog above.
As far as non-geek things go, I'm off to Singapore and Indonesia next Wednesday for 2 and a bit weeks with
mtl10. Just for a holiday, that is beginning to become desperately needed. I don't think I've take a day of leave since early February so it will be a welcome break. We don't plan on doing too much, just seeing the sites and catching up with some of Mel's family. We're heading off to the wedding of one of her cousins and apparently its being held in one of the swankiest joints in town which should provide for a good night out.
So that's about all the updates I have at the moment.
