We seem to moving at exactly the wrong time. I keep seeing high-dollar items that I've been wanting to purchase for months come down in price significantly to make way for new generations of technology. Things are now within my original price range, but I'm currently saving for the new furniture and other sundry items we'll have to purchase, so I can't take advantage.
My willpower about this sort of thing is usually pretty weak, but I have to be very rational about money when it comes to the move. The one luxury I have planned is a new cell phone once my contract is up in August.
