The Maryam Maquillage / Glossybox giveaway
I'm not a fan of 'open' posts. (mainly cuz there are weird Russian bots that scan text for keywords and then post comments on here with fake accounts saying 'I love that too! You should go here!'
But, I am a fan of Glossybox (blame juniperlore ). It's $20/month if you sign up for 6 months, you get usually 5 beauty samples (everything from lipstick, blush and lotion to hair care products and perfume.) It's a good way to try premium department store brands without having to fork out major cash.
It comes with an advertorial magazine, usually about products and brands you just got.
It's very New York.
But I like samples, and I like presents in the mail. So it works for me.

It's a ton of free makeup, or a glossybox... so, yeah.
As I have a weird fascination with beauty tutorials (I find them calming - perhaps cuz they're so foreign to me) and I watch a lot of drag looks and I'm subscribed to Michelle Phan, though she's kinda a sell-out with her corporate sponsorship these days. I'm fine with using sponsored products, if you realistically NEED/use them, but a 20 yr old Asian girl with perfect porcelain skin does not need to be hawking zit creams and wrinkle reducing foundations. THAT is selling out.
