Unfortunately I've been plagued with the greatest of luck in the last couple days. Let us begin with a couple things:
Numbero One: Attended a very entertaining pool party Monday at McKenzie’s place. Had fun but also acquired the most lovely and lethal sunburn in the history of the world. Of which still hasn’t' went away. Really making everything uncomfortable. It’s also very enlightening because I’ve never gotten a sunburn in my live, which means I’m never really in the sun very long. Maybe when this death tan is gone, I might have some color that isn’t pale. Is pale even a color?
Numbero Two: Last night, or earlier this morning depending how you count the day, my car got ran into a tree in the road by a certain someone. It’s quite irritating actually because it wasn’t even me that did the hitting of the tree. It was someone else in my car and you think that there would be a more cautious attitude when driving someone else’s car but apparently not because it still got ran into. And it’s even funny because I wasn’t originally going to let them drive my car but I was being nice. I’m always nice in the situation where it makes them really happy. Kind of like in the past when I would take the long way home, or I would drive around the block one more time so that they could have those extra few minutes of happiness. Teaches me I guess, either way I'm still have to get a new bumber and fender and most likely, a new grill. Awesome, simply awesome.
Numbero Three: So this fan was working perfectly when I had it in my room window. And naturally as soon as I move it into the living room, not even taking three minutes, the damn thing decides to just die. Well rather, spin really slowly and make an annoying creaking noise, not even making a single gust.
Numbero Four: Attending Warped Tour in Detroit on Saturday. Wasn't really all that great, opposed to all the hype about it being the best. Didn't help that AFI and Flogging Molly were not playing the venue but we had also missed Anti-Flag. The intense heat was to overwhelming, so we left. Lesson learned, Warped Tour isn't really all it's cracked up to be.
Numbero Five: Dirge of Cerberus release date…moved to the sixteenth. How inconvenient.
So that is my misfortune as of late. Besides the fact that I still don’t know what I’m going to do about school, considering tuition for the fall semester was due recently and I didn’t even sign up for classes. Not sure if I’m even going to take classes this semester, just save up money and get called a slacker and a disappointment. Either way I’m still making money and not wasting it on classes I don’t want to take.
As an update with the love life, I did clear things up and it left me heartbroken. Nothing really new there. Just kind of shrugged it off and moved on. Maybe I’ll find another pointless infatuation to occupy myself with. How knows?
Oh but there is actually a happy note in the whole post, three of the four barn kittens we had have been given away to people we know, or rather people my parents know. We have kept one though, Powder. She's quite interesting and damn adorable. Soup, my other cat, still isn't very fond of her but that's not my problem. So, everyone love my kitten!
