Season 7 of ER was my favorite of that show, and season 7 of CSI completely rocked with the Miniature Killer. Is it too early to say that season 7 is the best Bones has ever had? Despite the fact that it will be a shortened season and that only one episode has aired so far, I'm loving it. I'll admit, I was a little nervous back in May when it was revealed that they'd written Emily Deschanel's pregnancy into the script, but so far, so good.
The seventh season premiere, "The Memories in the Shallow Grave", had it all. A decent case (not that I really cared), fabulous Booth/Brennan interaction (complete with their usual bickering), a cute-as-a-button Michael Hodgins, and a great way to skip over the awkwardness of B/B's new relationship. If this is the quality of episodes we're going to get this year, I'll gladly take 13 instead of a mediocre 22!
