So... What's going on here, eh? Seeing as I'm taking my New Year's resolutions very seriously this year, I've been looking into what to do for being able to move out this year. Taking into account the fact that my father still pays most of my bills and shit, I'll be better able to raise up cash to the living fuck outta here. I'll give you people the inside look into how I plan on doing this.
My strategy:
I've made it so that my bank will automatically deposit $250 out of every paycheck into my savings, all of which will not be touched until after I've made the move.
I'm using the rest of the cash I'm making at work to purchase items I'll be using to full effect once in my own place. (shelving, new dresser, certain electronics)
I've already started looking at possible locations with reasonable prices. (I'm not sure if I'll get a one bedroom place or just a studio)
By my year review in May, I'll have saved up $2500 from this year alone. But I want to be absolutely certain before I start anything.
