Every morning as I leave for work I make the rounds of all the boys, saying goodbye to them and wishing them a good day. This morning, I found Micah sitting on my bed reading a book, sans cochlear implants

hehe that reminds me of my grandfather from when he was alive. while visiting, my younger brothers were sometimes too loud, so instead of asking them to quit down (especially when my brothers were really little and would have temper tantrums and such), he would simply switch off his hearing aid!
