I have missed a few days and am catching up snowflakes! It's also timed for the real snowstorm we're expecting tomorrow... on my BIRTHDAY! (Yay. Snow.)

Doesn't it??? I didn't rec Ain't No Grave, which is perhaps my hardest Stucky canon, but that and 4 Minute Window opened everything for me. And doesn't she do a great job, BetteNoire? I really like the standalone in Murder Ballads with the Dazzler (middle one). It's a phenomenal character study.

Thank you so much! We went yarn shopping and came in just as the snow really started. ❤️❤️

*sings* The Revelator! ♥

Oh God, I wish I could whole-heartedly love BetteNoire's fics but she does those weird tense switches that make it hard for me to read her stuff. :/ *is too hung-up on stuff like that*

Did you read "Except It Abide in The Vine"?

YESSSSSS. THE REVELATOR!!!!

Yeah... I know. I love her for the vividness and for coming out even though she's a pro writer etc. And I read her stuff eagerly. And she might benefit from a good fandom beta. 😊

Now I need to check!!! I'm not sure!!!

You'd remember if you'd read "Abide" - it's Spitz's multiverse fic. It's been eating my brain for the last couple of months. (There is also an awesome podfic. Seriously, the podfic is mind-blowing.)

I think I'd remember too.... I remember it going up and then it's a blur, so I don't think I've been exposed to it enough yet :D oooooh - podfic!!! I love podfic!!!

I'm convinced that that is how it was.

I did find the addiction and the violence hard to read, and I loved the kids' voices in particular and the sense of needing to heal.
