monaco update. sorry it may be long :).

so...moved into my little studio in a town called beausoleil just outside of monaco a few weeks ago...and i still dont have internet access or a phone line WHICH IS DRIVING ME CRAZY but at least i can go online at school (where i am now).

monaco is very expensive. and most people go clubbing every weekend, often multiple times each weekend. and one night is easily sooo much money. ive only been out once so far but it was like gee whiz...i spend this much money in a month. people also like going to restaurants every day for lunch on school days. david and i have liked getting little sandwiches at carrefour (similar to walmart) for 1.40 euros or something each, but then you have the dilemma of not spending time with anyone else because of it, lol.

monaco is very vertical. which means there are a lot of staaaairs. stairs stairs everywhere. you have to use stairs to get to the next parallel street. there are also several public elevators to get to different levels of monaco. unless you get taxis, you have to use stairs/elevators to get ANYWHERE. i have to walk down 3 or 4 sets of stairs just to get to the bus stop to go to school, lol.

the best friends we've made here are a girl from russia named kat, an italian guy named dario (who is now dating kat, yay!), and a girl from slovenia named neza (pronounced like asia but with an 'n' in the front. so like nasia).

ive been having freakouts about being back in school, but ive been managing to ease them somewhat. im actually doing pretty well so far. i did 2nd best on our first math hw assignment, got a B+ on our first business quiz, and i think i did well on the math quiz we had today (crosses fingers). but every time i find myself lost in class, its hard for me not to automatically go to thoughts about me being a stupid and dumb girl who should not be in school.

ium does not have a campus. it does not even have its own building. it rents space from the stadium. its 3 stories, with one floor underground with one classroom. the school has under 400 students, which cover about 50 nationalities, its crazy.

what else can i say....
