Any Magi fan?

Does anyone here know Magi - the labyrinth of magic?
It is a wonderful manga, but is surprisingly unknown outside Asia. I've started to read it about 5/6 months ago thanks to my best friend, and I fell in love with it.
English chapters are very slow, so I looked at the raws and the Chinese scanlations. From very simple translations, summaries and

Hi there! I'm from Asia too but I've been living in North America for 10 years. I knew about this manga from my Chinese friends and after reading it I've fallen in love with it too. Magi is pretty popular in Asia, you can tell when the Chinese translation comes out like a few days after the Japanese raw comes out. It's a good thing I'm able to read Chinese XD. I find it sad that it's not that popular here. I've been wanting to do the translation of the author's 手書き (handwritten) blog I'm not sure where I can post it...

My favorite couple is also Sinbad/Ja'far XD
It's surprising how I can spend so much money on MAGI stuff in such a short time... (Purchased all 11 volumes of Japanese Magi manga plus Sin/Ja doujins)

I have Magi doujinshis, too but it's to bad that I can't read japanese T_T
Can you read japanese?

The only way is to scan the doujin and ask someone to translate it T_T

Well... I can read basic Japanese but most of the time I would have to rely on Japanese online translator. If you know Japanese, pixiv is a really good place to find SinJa fan arts/short manga.

I did a calculation of the total amount of money and realized I already spent about US $250 on Magi-related items. Wow my wallet hurts so bad...

I don't want to ruin my doujinshis so that's why I always have second thoughts about scanning them.
Though I've scanned 1 thin Magi doujinshi.

Oh, you're so lucky to be able to read Chinese! Especially because you are able to understand what it is said in the latest chapters. I love the arc after chapter 110, but no one has properly translated it, because... well, there are no Japanese raws ;;
But lately I've found a site where they share the Japanese raws for the latest chapters of Magi!
I'm learning Japanese, and even though I still don't understand it very well, at least I can understand... somethingI love Ohtaka's tegaki! It's just... so damn fun

Oooh MAGI cosplay!! I'm planning on cosplaying Ja'far for the summer anime convention here. I plan on making the outfit myself... hopefully it'll turn out all right >_<

I'm also wondering if the MAGI scanlation group is planning on scanlating the manga volume extras, because I kind of want to translate that too if they're not doing it.

Oh can you give me the tumbler website? I'm not really sure how tumbler works... There are so many interesting things on the Tegaki Blog, but they also contain spoilers (for those that are just reading the scanlation)

Yeah I love SinJa too! I like Ja'far a lot too... By the way, which SinJa doujin do you have? I'm planning on scanning the thinner doujins that I'm going to get. Doujins are so expensive ;__;

I want to cosplay Ja'far too! And then Hakuryu, and maybe also Yamuraiha and Paimon. There are so many characters I would like to cosplay, but my priority is Ja'far. I already have my Sinbad~ ♥

Well, I think I'll translate the Tegaki blog by the order they were posted. Yeah I liked that one too... I've always wanted to know how Sindbad raise Ja'far to be so competent. (And also question what Sindbad did that Ja'far doesn't even know the meaning of friends!!!) Did you see the newest Tegaki Blog entry that was posted today? It's so cuute XDDDD I couldn't stop laughing. It made me miss Sindria so much >_<

I think I've read Asino-san's work too. Adenium and Nighty Blooming I think? My favourite circles are probably: DISCOTICA, Microcrack and 快楽オペレッタ. I love their stories <3

Magi is licensed in Italy!? Wooow... I want to see it licensed in America too ;___; All I can do is purchase the Japanese versions... which costs a lot. I feel like most people here watch anime more than read manga though, so I'm not sure if someone will recognize me (besides, Ja'far is just a side character too)

I want to see their pasts so badly too! Soo want to know what happened when Ja'far tried to assassinate Sindbad. What I find sad about the pairing Sin/Ja is that Ja'far sometimes see himself lower than Sindbad because of his past... And that makes me love Ja'far even more >_< I feel like Ja'far has devoted himself wholly to Sindria (and Sin) so he's always working. And that's another part of him that I love. It's not hard to see that my favorite character is Ja'far XD

I would buy the Japanese version too because I like it more, but, as you said, it would be very expensive to buy all the volumes ;; But I will surely buy volume 12 when it will be released in Japan! >wAh, I see… It’s the same here, but the fact that Magi is licensed helps a lot! But even if Ja’far is just a side character, he is very popular

Bimonthly is pretty fast! Even in Taiwan I know it's published every 4 months, and the latest one is volume 5. I always go on yesasia.com to purchase manga because they offer free shipping when you spend more than US$40.

Yeah Ja'far is really popular XD I think the fact that Sin/Ja is the most popular Magi pairing in Japan is one of the reasons for that. Because look-wise... Ja'far doesn't really stand out that much compared to most of the characters. But he has an interesting personality and past to make up for it and that's why I love him so much :D I mean, he can be really motherly towards the ones he likes (or a bit mean, especially to Sinbad XD), and ruthless towards his enemies. After chapter 110, the tag "Sindria's mad dog" was given to Ja'far XD I just love this gap in his personality <3

It is published also in France (I know because I was there last Summer and I was able to buy volume 1&2), and there is three-monthly! Actually, at first also in Italy it was three-monthly, but then they changed their mind
