A week ago I had dinner with my 92 year old grandma Nancy's house in the Bronx. I told her that I went to see Brokeback Mountain. She is almost deaf - "Mouse?
That's a queer one, that's a queer film."
My dad sat down last night and started to talk about her. He told me, "The kids don't want to play with her anymore." Her other old lady friends don't want to play cards and drink coffee with her. She's probablly too fiesty. They all call my other grandma (who lives a few blocks away from Nancy) to complain. My sister and dad are going back for dinner tonight for the same conversation, repeated over and over, and the same meal from the week before.
I saw the Bodies at South St. Sea Port. The most interesting work was the exhibit on the circulatory system, and the pregnant woman. They didn't have enough female bodies, I guess they are harder to come by ... if the bodies are executed / expired Chinese prisoners.
I left for Barcelona a year ago. I'll leave for Albany soon.
