This past Thursday was an interesting day. I woke up and discovered five new inches of snow had fallen overnight. The interesting part was getting to work that day. That problem was compounded by idiots in four-wheel drive pickups who think "I've got a big ol' truck and can drive as fast as I want to!" which proceeded to drive as fast as they wanted to

Auuugh. We have the same problem here in Manila. People with big 'ol vehicles driving like maniacs on the expressway, weaving in and out of lanes - all this in the pouring rain, too.

But at least on the expressway there's room to get away if you see 'em coming. It's nerve-wracking when you run across one of these inconsiderate boors in the city highway...as the family driver, I now have nerves of steel, I do, from dodging these types.
