I think we'll manage...
I had a very vivid and rather dull dream a few nights ago about Aniki getting and E-mail about having work again. So, I'm trying to be positive and hope that it means something will come up soon.
Mum came over today because she hadn't heard from me since they shut the phones off. Things are OK on that front at least. Krissi and I will be going over early Saturday to first go to a pot luck dinner thing at my Grandma's and then head over to Mum's to take stuff out of some cabinets that we are then going to smash the shit out of.
Shelly is being very understanding about the whole rent thing, which is awesome. So we should have decent rental history still after this mess, hopefully.
Got the package that my friend sent me with all the various stuff from Bend. Houses and duplexes and such not are stupid cheap to rent out there and so it certainly looks like a very viable option right now. The best I've seen at least. The work situation is about the same but there are a lot of nice hotels hiring front desk people, so Elfy can apply to those jobs as well as the one at the paper. XD
We have a sniffly kitten, she seems to have gotten a bit of a bug, but she's snuggly and purring and eating OK so I'm pretty sure she'll be fine. If she doesn't get better soon it'll be off to the Vet, even if we can't afford it. But, it's important.
