He didn't know when it happened - or how it happened.
All Lavi remembered was the splitting pain in his head when he was only a child. He could feel a barrage of images fill his head, making him lose sense of time as he was slowly attacked by the program that entered his head.
Remembrance.
Lavi was once called Xavier - a name given to him by his mother, or was it his father? He wasn't sure anymore. Ever since Remembrance had made him its new vessel, the redhead had forgotten much about his past. All he knew was the world that Remembrance had shown him when it invaded his mind.
He had seen the way the world had looked before it became still. The redhead was filled with memories that came from a time when the world was once a beautiful land - free from the catastrophe that continuously threatened the planet. However, having the program within his head took something precious away from him as well.
The sight in his right eye had been stolen by the program.
He had only been six years old when Rememberance found him, and he was soon taken into the Bookman Clan's custody. Lavi was raised by Bookman - the eldest of the Clan - and traveled with him in order to learn what he could about the world that surrounded them today. Unfortunately, when he was 15, he had developed an alter ego named "Deak" - a persona that was created by Remembrance that would allow it to take over whenever anything got too difficult for the young Bookman. It was only until he became "Lavi" that the redhead was discovered by Leverrier's lackeys, being forced to join them until Bookman risked his life for Lavi so that the redhead could get away.
It was shortly after that, that Lavi had run into Cross Marian. Lavi was soon taken under Cross' wing in order to understand the programs that were created to help their kind survive and how it corrupted them as well. It was then that Lavi decided to go against Leverrier and the Noah, using Remembrance to find the other pieces of H.E.A.R.T in order to change their world the way it was before.
Abilities:
Lavi: Due to the program in his head, Lavi is able to remember anything and everything with just a single glance. However, he is also able to see the memories of another living being with just a touch if he wanted to. While Lavi doesn't possess any real powers (such as manipulating elements or healing), he is able to crack through any riddle or code that he comes across. Other than that, Lavi is also familiar with many styles of martial arts and he's quite capable of handling any weapons that he wields.
Deak: Deak is able to manipulate memories and read minds. As a program, his powers is beyond human understanding, but Deak doesn't do much except to obtain knowledge and manipulate them so that it would work to his advantage. He is also able to sense the other programs from the remains of O.R.D.E.R or H.E.A.R.T. However, Deak only makes an appearance whenever his vessel is endangered. Through the program, Deak contains the power to form seals that are able to block and unblock memories.
Appearance:
Lavi and Deak share the same appearance since they both share the same body. However, when Deak is in control, his voice is a bit deeper and his left eye appears to give off a blue-green glow.
