Wow. I don't think I have the words to describe how much I've loved this fic. Just to reiterate everything I've said in my 345689564865 other comments, your characterization was spot on and you really brought both Cheryl and Kimberley to life and did them justice.

I feel like this fic is so different to so many others out there based on how true it stayed to reality and to events as they were happening, especially in the early chapters. This truly feels like a body of work that stretches over time and has a deep level of realism to it because of that fact.

I think this final part did justice to each of the previous sections you had written. It all came together very nicely and felt like a complete piece.

I've loved every word and I hope you continue to write Chim fics.

Thanks so much. You've done a very good job of being my personal cheerleader and motivator to get this thing finished. And so patient! I'm glad you liked the ending - I always find them the most difficult part which is probably why I dragged this story out.

I'm all Chim'd out fic-wise. I thinking I'll try writing another ship first, maybe come back to them in a decades time. They should get married or something, give more stuff to work with. Thank you again for all your kind and encouraging words!

If you do decide to come back and write another Chim fic one day, I'll be the first in line.

I forgot to mention earlier that I love the art that goes with this final piece. The eyes are beautiful and captivating. You did a great job.

This story is perfect. Even with the waits between chapters that seemed endless, it just is. And I feel like you've captured them so truthfully, as if you knew them, really. Nothing has ever been cliche, and it's dark, often depressing, asfixiating, but the outcome is the same, and it's the truth of why we're fans - you just want them to be together. You just think that they are good for each other and they need to see that ( ... )

You are far too kind with all this praise, but it's awesome so thank you. It was a pretty angsty fic, but that had always been my intention after Pillow Talk. I'm glad the vibe seemed true to life and everything, I guess I did something right!

I'm totally exhausted having finished this. I reckon it would take me all day to read the whole thing back now. But it's very satisfying too, to get it done and dusted. Actually I did a fanmix to help me plot the story when I got stuck and I'll probably post that tomorrow if anyone's interested.

But thanks again for your wonderful comments and sticking with it throughout the delays.

I completely adore this; such a wonderful ending :) Loved Kimberley being the one to get emotional at the end, and love the intensity of the hospital scene, and love fiesty Cheryl. This whole series has been amazing - I'm gutted you say you're done with Chim!
