Special Abilities Permission

Character name: Gazille Redfox

Canon Ability/Power: iron Dragonslayer magic

Why do you want to bring this into the game? /How is it important to your character? His powers pretty much represent his whole existence. Ok, so maybe that was a bit dramatic. Gazille was raised and taught magic by a dragon, he grew up feeling superior to other ordinary mages/wizards, and his kind is very rare. When he finds Natsu, he’s thrilled to finally be able to battle someone with powers similar to his own. Heck, even his diet is different, since he eats his own element (metal/iron).

What does it do? / How does it work? Dragonslayer Magic is, like the name says, magic that can slay dragons. This magic makes the human user be able to use dragon attacks, according to a certain element. In Gazille’s case, he can create iron or turn his own body into an iron weapon. His hands can turn into anything, such as poles or swords, his skin can grow iron scales for protection and he can create iron objects, such as daggers, and throw them. His most powerful attack, characteristic of all Dragonslayers, is his roar. In Gazille’s case, the Iron Dragon’s Roar, which consists of a whirlwind of metallic shards shot at the opponent from his mouth.
However, Dragonslayers need to consume their own element to restore their magical power, as well as lessen the damage on their bodies. They can simply eat normal food, but eating their own element is far more satisfying.
Also, being raised by a dragon will enhance their human senses, such as sight, smell and hearing, making them even better than some animals.

How will this be translated to Hogwarts? Gazille will still be able to do all that, pretty much. Turning his own limbs into metal through transfiguration magic, and his iron dragon’s roar will be an elemental attack.

How will you be limiting this power? Unlike in the manga/anime, Gazille won’t be able to make huge iron poles or epically heavy swords. Mostly the size of his transformations will be tuned down, but he also won’t be able to turn his whole body into iron dragon scales. Instead, he’ll be able to turn some of his skin at a time, like, for example, his lower arm, his neck, or some areas of his chest. Relying on his Dragonslayer magic will wear him down pretty quickly, but his Iron Dragon’s Roar will tire him out the most, so he’ll probably only be able to use it once in a battle, if he wants to be able to keep standing after using it.

Gazille will also still be able to eat iron/metal (and it will be his favorite type of food), and his senses will be slightly better than most people.

Do other characters know about this power? It’s no secret, even if Gazille isn’t exactly the loud type of character. But his constant chewing on the school’s tableware might make people start asking questions.

Anything else? WEEE ARE THE DRAAAGONS, MY FRIIEEENNDD~
