Ep. 2 [idda/taiyou/shoon] Lights Camera Action! SUNSHINE TAKE TWO!!!
That night, Sarah was retelling the tale of the mystery boys and Idda’s antics to the Namikaze sisters, her boyfriend, Yuya Tegoshi, Maia’s Beau, Daigo Naito and their cousin Yamapi in full detail, with actions and voice changes. The amused audience laughed animatedly at Sarah’s monologue. As soon as the monologue was done the captive audience turned to Idda to question her.
“So, who among the two knights in shining armor should I watch out for, so I can murder them in case he breaks your heart?” Yamapi who was always the protective cousin began the interrogation.
Idda looked at her onii-san and sighed. “I don’t know yet, but there’s a possibility of both.”
“Both?”The eldest sister, Maia flipped her long black hair and raised an eyebrow. “Do that and you are going to put yourself in a difficult situation, Idda.” She sighed thinking about her own situation. She didn’t want Idda to suffer as much as she is being torn between two loves and not knowing what to do or what the right decision to make. “I just don’t want you to get hurt.” She said.
“Sounds like someone is speaking from experience,” Yamapi murmured which the sharp ears of Daigo Naito caught.
“You are torn between two loves, my Princess?” he panicked putting a protective arm around her. “No one steals my Princess, hear me? NO ONE. But she’s right Idda, it might be unfair to keep both. I know I wouldn’t want to share my Maia.”
“Possessive much?” Idda scowled at him. Idda somehow knew that there was some form of truth in what her sister is saying. Though, of course she couldn’t put a finger on it because it seemed that she was happy with Daigo - or at least she seems to be.
Maia reassured her boyfriend with a small smile. If he only knew what she truly felt, then he wouldn’t be like that. In fact, it might break his heart. But since Daigo was super nice to her and the other candidate was not moving an inch, she decided to try to fall in love with him. Maybe there was a twinge of love, but not as much as she had for the other boy. But nevertheless, she sweetly winked at him. “Don’t worry, Daigo. It was just something hypothetical, you know… ” She sent a murderous and yet meaningful glance to Yamapi who smiled at her and continued to eat his dessert.
“But, yeah, Nee-san is right, Idda… it may be fun right now but it might get confusing later,” Sarah agreed. “But, I like Shoon. He seems to be a decent lad.”
Again, Idda scowled. “He’s a spaz.” She volunteered. “I like Taiyou-senpai. He’s a gentleman, he’s sweet….”
“A gentleman who would hit you with a ball?” Resha scoffed as she put down several cups of coffee on the table.
“Well, it didn’t really happen,”Idda said defensively. Really, her sisters!
“But if it did, would you choose him or the one who gave all the efforts to keep you safe?” Yuya Tegoshi slung an arm around his girlfriend’s arm and smiled at Idda. The others were looking expectantly at her and waited for an answer.
“hmmm….” Idda thought for a while. OUCH! That hit her harder than a futsal in the head. /I’ll get you for that later, Yuya./
“Well?” Daigo egged her on, expecting an answer.
“Taiyou still,” she said firmly and nodded. As adorable as shoon was, he was just a friend, period.
“Hmm… so I guess it’s ok to hit girls with a futsal in the head to get noticed,” Yamapi shook his head. “I’ll decide when I meet them both but so far Team Shoon is leading for me.”

Meanwhile, Taiyou could not sleep that night. He was so guilty and worried about Idda that he couldn’t sleep a wink. He planned all kinds of ways to apologize to her. From sending her flowers to painting a big banner saying “I am sorry Please forgive me IDDA NAMIKAZE” and posting it in the middle of the quadrangle. However, the flowershops were already closed and he didn’t have cloth and enough paint to make the banner so he settled for the next best thing. He had spent all night composing the most heartfelt and sincere apology letter and planned to do everything in his power to make it up to her. He knew that he would probably get slapped , but he knew that he deserved it.
The next day, the sleepless Taiyou arrived early at the Namikaze residence (thanks to the information printed on her ID). He stood there with a cake which he bought early from a bakery and nervously rang the bell. This was it.

Inside the Namikaze residence was total chaos, Maia was fretting because she couldn’t find the black blouse she bought the other day. She was sure it was in her closet and her look would never be complete without it. Meanwhile, Resha was rushing breakfast because she woke up late and ended up burning the eggs and toast. Idda was frowning because she found out that there was a quiz that she missed because she missed one of her classes during her act yesterday and was trying to fend off a phone call attack from Shoon who had 180 missed calls since yesterday afternoon. In addition to that, she couldn’t find her ID. It was a disaster. Sarah was the only one calm enough to answer the door.
She walked to the door calmly and wondered who it was. Maybe it was Yamapi who forgot something last night or wants breakfast or maybe Yuya was early.
“HAI!” She called out to the person at the door. She opened the door and froze. This was the tall guy from the clinic yesterday. What was his name? Taiyou?
“Uh… Hi, is Namikaze Idda in here?” Taiyou smiled weakly at the person in front of him. Wasn’t she the nurse in the clinic yesterday? He took a closer look at the embroidery on the scrubsuit that the girl wore and sure enough it was Namikaze Sarah. The nurse was Idda’s sister. /Oh shit. Earth, swallow me whole now. /He prayed.
“Yeah, she’s somewhere in there. I’ll call her, come in,” Sarah said as she ushered him into the living room. She thought for a moment before smiling at him. The boy looked so distraught and from the way his eyes looked, it seemed that he hasn’t slept a wink. “Are you here to apologize?”
“Yes, ma’am,” he said quietly. “I really felt bad about what happened yesterday. I swear! I was trying to warn her, but the HipHop Club was playing their music so loud that she might have not heard. I mean, I wouldn’t really go and hurt her…. Especially not her…” Taiyou looked like he was about to cry. But before he did, he extended the cake to her. “this is for you. I want to say sorry to the family too.”
Sarah wanted to hug him then and there. The guy was so nice! It was mean of Idda to play a trick on such a nice boy. Suddenly, she had an idea. She spied the ID in the boy’s hand and smiled as she took the cake from him. Maybe it was time to teach baby idda a lesson. “Wait there.”
Sarah quickly gathered Maia and Resha who have both significantly calmed down after Maia found her shirt stuck between her bags and Resha succeeded in cooking a good batch of eggs. “Taiyou is here. The guy who “hit” idda in the head, he seems like a really nice guy . He even wanted to apologize to the family. “ She raised the cake. “ Maybe we could teach our baby sister lesson. “
Maia nodded and narrowed her eyes. “Playing those kinds of tricks are dangerous.”
Resha agreed. “She should get a taste of her own medicine.”
A quick pow-wow was all it took and the older 3 Namikaze sisters had a battle plan.
It started off with Sarah finding Idda in her room scouring every inch for her ID. “Idda, what are you looking for? We’re going to be late.”
“I can’t find my ID,” Idda admitted and frowned in frustration and turned off the 200^th missed call from shoon.
“I think I saw it in the living room,” Maia piped in as she passed by her sisters and go to her room to gather her things and finish putting on her make up.
“Thanks, nee-chan!” Idda beamed as she bounced towards the living room. Once she got there, she was shocked as she found Taiyou sitting in the living room, the precious ID in his hand.
Once inside, Resha conveniently locked the door to that area of the house and called her sisters to listen in on the fun.
“Idda, I thought you had a concussion!”Taiyou was pleasantly surprised and shocked at the instant recovery of the girl.
Idda’s eyes went wide as saucers as she tried to back away from Taiyou and get out of there, but the door was locked. She was stuck. “I-uh….”
Taiyou stood up to meet her halfway. Then he started to kneel on the floor. He knew this would happen. He knew that she could not bear see his face that was why she was running away.“Please, don’t run away. I really want to apologize. I really didn’t mean to…” Taiyou couldn’t speak anymore and pushed the letter on the ground. “Please forgive me Namikaze Idda.” He said as he bowed to the ground.
Wait. Oh shit. What has she done?! She didn’t mean for it to go too far. Idda picked up the letter and sighed as she read it. It was so heartfelt and sincere that she began to cry. She also realized that he had not slept and felt that she was the one that needed to apologize.
“Get up, Taiyou-senpai,” She said. “I need to apologize to you. I am the one who is supposed to b bowing down not you. “ She choked in her own sobs.
A confused Taiyou looked at her in confusion. She was on the ground across from him bowing.
“ I AM SO SORRY! I --- played a trick on you. I pretended to be hit so that you would notice me, I didn’t expect it to go this far! Please forgive me.” She bowed on the ground.
The sisters were now peeking in from the door and smiled as their sister was learning an important lesson. Idda was still quite a child and needed a lot of learning to do. Maybe that’s why they were there.
A shocked Taiyou stood up and picked her up from the ground. “If you really wanted to meet me, Namikaze Idda, all you had to do was ask.” He said as he put the ID around her neck.
He stared at her fondly. Maybe the ID was magical indeed. /Thank you Magic ID../
Idda looked up at him and smiled a little. “Sorry,” she said.
“But since you owe me already,” Taiyou felt a little bolder this time. “If you eat lunch with me later we will consider each other even.”
Idda smiled,”If it’s curry, then yes.”
Taiyou laughed and nodded. “I know the best curry place in town.”
Idda smiled until she heard a commotion behind the door. Her sisters. “Come in, I can hear you girls.” She said laughing.
“So?” Resha smiled at Idda. “Would you care to introduce us?”
Idda nodded but then Taiyou boldly stepped forward as the door burst open and Yamashita TOmohisa bounded in, apparently, he was listening from the front door.
“Not without me,” He said and shot a look at Taiyou.
The girls laughed. And Taiyou began his introduction.
“I am Taiyou Ayukawa, I am a sophomore in the Business Administration Department. I am here to take your sister to school and have the intention of being her … friend,” Taiyou said boldly but was kind of quiet with the last line. Truth is, he wanted to date her but that may be too forward.
“Alright,” yamashita said. “But no funny business, young man. Give me your cell phone number and ID number. I have both my eyes on you. “ He warned him pointedly.
“Speaking of school,” Maia looked at her watch and her cellphone which was ringing Daigo was already panicking. “We’re all late.”
