It's certainly not working here! Where is this place, anyways - and when, that might come in handy. Anymore it's the same when, but this place still has landlines.

We can all just merely guess to when and where, although you should have noticed this place is modelled after American towns of the 1950s.

Well, not exactly, but I haven't seen much beyond this house, so it's a bit hard to guess. And when you factor in other countries, alternative timelines, alien planets that have adapted a strange parody of human customs, you really don't have much to go on at all.

That's a start though. Frame of reference, you might say.
