I miss when I looked forward to Mondays..
It froze Saturday night and it was very very cold Sunday. It feels like winter already. *brrrr*
So I did watch H5-0, but I wasn't around a computer at the time, so I didn't write down things I liked and didn't like. As such, I can't remember much, except that in general, it was way more fun and more S1-ish than most eps this season. OHWAIT. Grunny was in it! HOW COULD I FORGET?! I ♥ me some Greg Grunberg. Okay, so I remembered that part... However, the fact that I can't remember much else bodes very badly. For shows that I really like, I remember every effing detail, up to the point that friends roll their eyes and call me obsessed (I disagree; I am merely observant). But this season, H5-0 isn't getting that response from me.
I mean, had no trouble remembering what had happened in Revenge, and it had a week break! (BTW, I was really upset about that, ABC. There was much fist-shaking and grumbling. Stupid music awards shows...)
So despite the fact that I did enjoy last week (I laughed at multiple points, which is more than I can say for any other S2 ep), I'm sticking with Castle live and H5-0 the next day. Honestly, it's mostly because of Lori at this point. I still have no idea why I should like her and accept her as the rest of the team has apparently done. I don't like her, although Lauren German's acting has not been as grating recently (which, believe me, I appreciate). I don’t really dislike her either, but...
Oh, and. One other thing that I’ve been meaning to mention for a while: how does Scott Caan look so ridiculous holding a gun? I mean, he looks more like he should be holding a bouquet of flowers or something. I didn’t know it was difficult to hold a gun. I’ve never seen anyone else look silly, even in older films/shows where other parts of the production strike me as weird. I mean, deadly weapon, right? It shouldn’t look amusing, it should look deadly. I just... don’t understand. Has no one else noticed? Is it just me? Can no one on set correct his... stance? Grip? Posture? Something? It seriously bugs the crap out of me. Throws me right out of the action, every time. Gah.
