According to LiveJournal, it has been twelve weeks since I last updated. Three months. Quarter of a year. I suppose that it's time enough I write something new.
Speaking of writing something new, a new screenplay has entered my life, "Ireland", a love story... oh, bleck, I can't remember how one of my friends described it, but it's not just a love story, it's a finding yourself story, and she summed it up perfectly, but now I can't remember, and now I'm babbling, and now this is an annoying run- on sentence - the end.
Wow. Moving on.
Gretchen and I had our six month anniversary on the 1st (of July). By far the longest *in person* romantic relationship I've been able to sustain. Recently, however, it has seemed kind of strained - but maybe my trip to Colorado in a little under a week will help; Absence makes the heart grow fonder, et al.
Summer is moving into its second half, and it feels nice. For some reason this past month and a half hasn't passed so quickly as other summers have - maybe it's because I'll be a senior next year, and I'm secretly going to miss this place.
Nah.
So I'm faced with a dilemma - about colleges, of course. My two real choices (well, the only choices I'm considering) are Columbia (in New York) and USC (in L.A.). My problem is this: I love, adore and cherish New York. It is by far my favorite city - I felt at home there, and even more at home on campus. But USC has the best film school in the country, and I really want that option (although I hated L.A., and USC felt too much like UT for comfort). While Columbia does have a good film school, it doesn't offer much in the way of majors until you reach the master's level. C'est la vie. The solution will come in time, I'm sure.
More on life later.
