"I've got to hand it to you, Dr. Oliver. You sure do know how to surprise me."
"Well, you know what, Mr. Snyder? Sometimes I surprise myself."
Luke grabs hold of Reid's hand. "Come on, I've got my own surprise."
Reid glances back in the direction of Chris's room. "Uh, Luke, what about Chris?"
"Dr. Dixon't got it covered," Luke says, pulling Reid along. "Now, come on."
They walk into Reid's small office, and Luke shuts the door, pulling at it to make sure it's locked. He pushes Reid against it.
"Do you remember what I said to you earlier, about how I feel?" asks Luke.
Reid, with his back against the door, wraps his arms around Luke's waist, leaving no space between them. "Vaguely. Refresh my memory," he says with a smirk.
"I told Noah--"
"Leave that part out, please," Reid says.
Luke chuckles. "I told you that I'm in love with you." He puts his arms around Reid's neck, one of his hands gently caressing the hair at the nape. "I love you, Reid. I am so in love with you."
Reid, a half-smile on his face, nods. "Ah, that, yes, I do recall that." And of course Reid remembers because that's all he's been thinking about since Luke said it. And all he can think about now is how to say it back.
Luke doesn't wait for him, though. He kisses Reid, kisses him more intensely than he's ever kissed him. They break apart and Luke walks toward the couch against the far side of the room with Reid behind him. Luke lies back on the couch, and Reid climbs on top.
"I thought you said you needed a bed," Reid says, positioning himself between Luke's legs on the too-small couch.
"Screw the bed," Luke says with a twinkle in his eye. "Well, screw me, actually. But we've got privacy and each other and that's all that matters."
They kiss and touch and feel parts of each other that they haven't felt before. Luke looks into Reid's eyes, gently caressing his face. "You know, you could tell me you love me now."
But Reid doesn't think it's the right time. "Uh, you'd probably just think I was trying to get into your pants so . . ."
"You are in my pants," Luke laughs.
Reid glances down at his hand all the way down Luke's jeans as he strokes him. He laughs.
They kiss some more, undress, rub against each other, push in and pull out before they each climax, muffling their sounds against one another's skin so as not to attract the attention of anyone outside the room.
Luke wipes sweat off Reid's forehead as he looks into his eyes. "You could tell me you love me right now."
Still not the right time. "Um, you'd think I was saying it just because you gave me the most mind-blowing orgasm ever so . . ."
Luke simply smiles. They dress and walk to the door. Before opening it, Luke looks at Reid and touches his arm. "Chris is going be okay, Reid. He's going to make it."
"He better so he can get Katie off my back," Reid says, jokingly. "She still asks a lot about me and you and once she knows I'm in love with you, I'm never going to hear the end of it."
Luke releases the doorknob and stares at Reid. "What?'
Damn! Not the right time but . . . "Yes, Luke, I do," Reid admits, suddenly not feeling scared at all about saying it.
"You do?"
"I do."
"What a nice surprise," Luke says, though he's really not surprised at all. He pulls Reid toward him for a kiss. "I do, too."

You know, I had this terrible dream where something awful happened to Reid after this episode aired. I'm so glad that you provided the REAL transcript of the show so I know what went on. :)

Mmmmmmmmmm. I just love how Reid keeps saying it's not the right time and then it ends up slipping out anyways. You can't help yourself. Admit it. Reid's life is now full of sunshine and rainbows and lots of Luke. *sigh*

This may sound weird but thank you for writing this. It's tough for me to watch the clips without being all rage-y so it's lovely that you wrote something so sweet.
