I don't have a lot to say about this clip. It mostly boils down to, I don't think Noah could possibly have been LESS supportive of Luke's decision to run for student

I realized during this storyline how tired I was getting of Nuke and Noah's selfishness. I found myself wanting Luke and Kevin to hook up because NOAH SUCKS.

I think we were all ready for Luke/Anyone-But-Noah by the time Reid came along, and, thank God, Reid was not only NOT NOAH but was AWESOME!

I agree with your comment, naturally, but mostly I want to tell you that your icon is the most awesome thing the world has even known. EVER. With the possible exception of the one where he's throwing the toothbrush (don't know if that was you too, but both are pretty damn epic!). Oh, and of course Reid himself, he's better than any icon. Better than most things, really. :D

Oh, good! So it wasn't just me! Cause I could see the little looks Kevin was giving Luke and I was like "Hmmm, could be some chemistry there!" Or maybe I was just so damn desperate for disappearing douche.

I think the Kevin actor was totally playing it like Kevin not-so-secretly had a thing for Luke. He totally eye-sexed Luke on multiple occasions.

That would have worked for me. Hell, there was a part of me that wanted Luke to hook up with BRIAN, if only for long enough to get rid of Noah!

LOL! Ya know, if Brian had not been married to Lucinda then I would have been down for Luke getting some action out of him, too. But I love Luke/Lucinda too much for anything to come between them. But Luke definitely needed some hot sex from someone, since I doubt he ever got hot action from Noah.

Hey, if they can come back from Jack and Brad both marrying Katie, and from Holden having an affair with his best friend/cousin's ex-wife (who also happened to be his wife's best friend), they could have found a way to make it work for Luke and Brian! :D

Don't get me wrong, Luke/Reid was like a million times better than Luke/Brian would have been, but I still think Luke/Brian would have been at least hundreds of times better than Luke/Noah ever was!

I actually liked Luke/Brian. They had an interesting dynamic, and I do think that at some points it seemed like Brian was the only one genuinely interested in Luke's well being.

Oh, ITA... or at least, he was one of very few people who was interested in Luke's well being. When Luke was drinking, the only people who even noticed at all were Brian, Casey, Alison, and Noah. Noah was mainly judgmental about it, but I never got the impression that he cared all that much that Luke was hurting himself. He was much more concerned that Luke was doing something WRONG.

Brian really did care, but he was all kinds of messed up himself and tried to take advantage of the situation, too, even as he was trying to help Luke.

I've always been kind of "meh" on Alison, but I have to say, she and Casey totally rocked during that storyline. (Not that it's surprising at all about Casey, because he ALWAYS rocked!) Luke can be a mean drunk, and he was nasty and obnoxious to them, and he even punched Casey, and they still kept wanting to help him. They were awesome! They were pretty much the best friends EVER...

And then the writers got some kind of amnesia and Luke wasn't even at their not!wedding! WTF was up with that, moronic

Me, too. Loved every scene between Luke and Brian, Van and Laurence Lau had very good chemistry.
