“How on earth are we supposed to do this? I can’t believe Jean is this bad at writing.”

“It’s completely out of our control Van. We’ll just do the best we can with it.”

“How am I supposed to act like I haven’t quit the board. I just did in the last episode.”

“And I’m supposed to still be afraid of being in a relationship when we clearly are in one. Did you see these last lines? How many times has Reid said he’s staying in Oakdale. How do I make that believable?”

“Let’s get started rehearsing this nonsense. Do you want to just run the lines or do you want to see where we can tweak these notes first.”

“Let’s just run the lines as is first so we can see where to fix things.”

“Our fans deserve so much better.”

First episode I watched of ATWT for ages when it aired - had taken a looooong break because Nuke had got so damn boring. But a kind friend tipped me off that there was a seriously sexy doctor around, so I started watching again. Saw this episode, then went back to the beginning of Reid's episodes and watched all of them - then watched this epi. again and though WTF just happened?!

I believe without reservation that the only reason we haven't heard comments like this from the actors is that they still need to find jobs and be hireable.

I have a gut feeling one reason Van didn't submit for the Emmys was because the writing was so awful. That may be wishful thinking on my part though.
