"You get your sight back but you lose your memory?"

You guys, was that not the greatest line ever to leave Luke Snyder's lips? I've never heard such a beautiful thing and I remember screaming, "HIGH FUCKING FIVE!" to the television. I love this episode so, so much that I even made a video dedicated to it. But let's talk about that later. Let's talk about the episode now.

I was shocked and appalled at how many Nuke fans seemed to scream “Go, Noah! He totally had it coming!”

So much word. And I would've felt the same way had Reid struck Noah, who, imo, actually did have something coming to him since he treated Luke so freaking badly. But Reid used his words like a grown-up to confront the Douche.

And I really don’t feel like justifying Luke’s “does that mean you still care” thing with Noah at the end, so I’m choosing to ignore it.

I'll justify it for you! I really don't think that had Noah said "Yes, I'm still in love with you and want you back," that Luke would've changed the focus of his intent to woo from Reid back to The Douche. I think he just wanted a) to be able to write off the punch as something he could understand (i.e. hurt, jealousy), and b) to get a little comfort that the last few years of his life hadn't been utterly wasted on someone who had no real feelings for him, and probably c) he does get a little contact high from someone wanting him, and I think there was part of him that would've felt more secure, somehow, knowing and hearing that Noah did still care. Though at the moment my mind is coming back to what would've been Luke's reaction had Noah said, "Yes, I love you." I think that he would've gone into a mode that is much more comfortable to him -- he's not comfortable being the wronged party, imo -- and he could've stepped into comforting Noah, and probably trying to move toward what he ultimately wanted, which was to be friends. He'd probably try to explain that he never expected it to happen with Reid, etc. But, I definitely think he wouldn't have gone running back. It might've opened up another world of confusion, though. At least for a day or two. But probably not, imo. /ramble

I heart this so hard. That is all.
