That was one swanky kind of a game. It never got out of control, we were on all cylinders the whole time. Pedro! Snow! I love you guys! Thanks to Mando too. Lest anyone think otherwise, this time I wasn't bitter about getting pulled for the 9th. It didn't feel like a punishment this time, but just like Felipe saying, "You've done your part."
Lance and I had some of the guys over to celebrate and also to try to calm down Cain for tomorrow. His nerves make me remember my first time, last year. I remember how some of the vets helped me chill out the night before, so I'm glad to be able pay it forward when I can. The other thing is he's nervous about the fact that the minute he gets to know someone, they're traded or otherwise let go. He says he's afraid to make friends up here because they seem to get whisked away. I guess this is about Tuck and JC, though I didn't think Cain was particularly close to them. But he's easily shook up, I guess.
Brett didn't want to come over tonight, I guess Julia had dibs on him for this evening. Hopefully they got all their appliances in working order. I think Omar is getting him a present and I know what it is ... just hope Julia doesn't try to use it or else it will surely break.
Let's all wish Matt a good start tomorrow. I've got the Martinelli's on ice.
