I'm being a bad friend to you all recently for which I sincerely apologize, but I've hardly had any private time on a computer recently, and when I do, I'm either obsessively-compulsively logging all my food and exercise, or checking out which films I want to see at the Fantasy Filmfest (http://fantasyfilmfest.com/) this year. Human Centipede will not be on my must-see list!

In other movie watching news, I finally got to see Inception on the weekend. It's not very often you go to see a hyped movie, and still come out having enjoyed yourself thoroughly. To be fair, I made a point of trying to know as little as possible about it when I went to see it, and once I went, "oh hey, this is just a fun action movie", I think I was in the right frame of mind. Rich was moaning nonetheless (too long, didn't really work with dream mechanics and didn't really do enough with the dream world, etc.) but then he's always a glass is half full kind of guy. Also watched The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, so it's all about internal worlds at the moment!

In exercise news, I'm nuts. I came home and restarted the C25K program on Friday. Even so, I covered over 3km, with an average running speed of 8km, which is hella fast for me. Felt good! But then on Saturday we went out for a big ride. And sort of got lost at some point on the wrong side of the Rhine. That ended up being 38km. And then we walked to the cinema yesterday, which all up ended up being about 10km walking. Guess what? My legs hurt! Got caught up at work today just as I was about to come home, so forcing me to be sensible now that I am home and just sit down!

Okay, I'd better go help with dinner before the boy blows a gasket (whole other story).
