DPP: In Another Life

For today's topic, we're going to explore AUs and pilots.

Imagine Lee and Kara on Earth, in modern times, and the Twelve Colonies, the Cylons, or Galactica had never happened. What do they do on Earth? How do they meet? Is it the same familiar, angst-ridden to get their act together, or is it easier because, this time, Zak isn't in the way?

It seems to me the ultimate AU would be (for the pilots) if Lee met Kara before Zach. Would Lee have gone for Kara? Would they have had a relationship that lasted? Or would they be never meant to be like the lyrics of one of the songs from yesterdays DDP suggest? Lee would have been on Galactica when the attacks occurred but what about Kara?

I love that particular AU world and have written a bunch that fit that premise exactly :) SO much potential!

Even if I had more time in the day to read all the fanfics I want I don't think I would ever be caught up on all your fics. You are such a prolific writer!
