This Is Sparta!
so its been over a month. summer is over. school is here.
im still getting paid in 2 week increments from the boys n girls club because the checks didnt start coming for 4 or 5 weeks when i started. its kinda like free money at this point
last weekend was pretty sweet. Came home friday and saw michelle, then saw her saturday, and sunday. haha im a dork. i know i'm in love with her though. its kinda exciting.
I'm really liking State. two of my classes require no books, so i spent a grand total of $150 for all mine. i really enjoy my computer science class/lab which is probably good since its my major. My bioscience class is kinda intimidating. lots of new concepts and jargon i will need to study for at some point (i'm already behind in reading). My calc class is kinda pissing me off. its easy enough because i took calc last year, but the prof is some young indian guy who gets nervous way too easily and is basically impossible to understand. Plus, he talks faster when he gets frustrated/angry with the class, which happens often considering how stupid most of us are.
I am mightily enjoying dorm life, even though i can't say i've really become friends with anybody outside the Athens circle yet. the food is good and plentiful, and im getting fond of this independence. the lofts went up monday (albeit slowly) and they're sweet.
yah thats about it.
