He let his eyes wander over the Atlantis scenery, trying not to pout over the fact that as soon as the party was over, it was back to Earth with him. It was nice to be able to take a break like this, with Shan, away from Woody everything that seemed to nag at them back home.
Just two old friends having a good time. At a surprise wedding. In another galaxy. No one said it was conventional.

The small group of them stood witness to the vows, and the heartfelt confessions that came from their two friends. It truly was a touching thing to be a part of, and Teyla was honored that they had been allowed into something that could be seen as a private moment for the two of them. Being there, being a part of that day meant a great deal to Teyla and she would remember this for the rest of her days.
She would also probably not easily forget Jim shouting to the entire population of Atlantis, and quite possibly the mainland as well about how he had won in life. It was quite a sight, as well as a lot to hear. Teyla could tell that Addie was a bit embarrassed and hoped that it was something that she was used to by this point, because if she was not then she was in for quite a lifetime.
