*squee* at Art Riot.
Doing another little post even though I'm not sure if these posts are actually showing up on people's friends page, perhaps Jesus just doesn't love me? Well that doesn't matter because the manager and a customer at Art Riot do!
I was there today, I was supposed to get my photo's taken for my ID card but i was like "I don't look purdy enough today" so I didn't, instead I bought the last canvas for my portfolio. When I went up to the counter the manager lady, I think she's the manager, she just has that vibe, saw me and recognized me from the other times I'd been in, I told her about the portfolio and the lady behind me heard and when it came time to pay it turned out I was a dollar short! OH NOES! I'm a po' white ho. Anyway, I was fretting, couldn't pay by card as it was a 10 dollar minimum and then the lady behind me was like "Oh, here I'll pay the extra dollar, I have sons studying art and I know how hard it can be." Me and the manager lady smiled and were all like "you're so nice!" and when she gave me the receipt she mouthed "say thanks" at me, so I turned to the lady gave her this big cheesy smile i couldn't hide and said thank you and then skipped home merilly. I REALLY want a job there.
Alas, I caught the 194 home and that bus is notorious for annoying high school kids and today was no exception....the morons actually shouted out "Woot! WOOT!" when they saw it was the 194 and one of them was beat boxing *shudder* luckily the canvas thing put me in a good mood so I soldiered on.
This birthday week is actually turning out pretty good so far. It's like...the best week i've had in a good long while, it's the universes birthday present I feel.
