Alex...hrmm.

This is a different Alex to the one that I talked about before, for one thing this ones a guy, and another I work with him.

He's very friendly and such, goes to tafe, i don't know what he does...he's told me but i've forgotten. Anywho. He asked me when i started my shift how school is, I replied with "It's good...nice and schooly" and left it at that... There was another girl in between us and i barely know the guy so i was kinda like... oookey dokey. Then later I was talking to Katie about her paying off her parking ticket when Alex randomly says to her "Hey, stop talking to him, I wanna find out about the new guy!" I smiled at him but then turned to face Katie and went :|... Kinda creepy. His homosexual status isn't known... on the one hand i'm sure he's mentioned something about a girlfriend but on the other...on his name tag he has a picture of the gay pride flag... he's quite the perplexion.

Invigorating thing happened today. Start of my shift this guy comes bolting down the stretch outside the newsagents, tipping over tables and being chased by security guards, he runs out the door, still chased by the security guys, I'm staring while still trying to serve, luckily everyone else was looking to, then he runs back in the store where he's tackled to the ground while he shouts "come on man, you can let me go!". Turns out the guy stole a mobile phone from allphones and 5 bottles of perfume from david jones, then when he realised the jig was up he tried to offload the loot on some Foxtel guy and then tried to steal his wallet, ripping his pants.. So exhilerating...alas the exciting beginning of my shift made the rest of the shift very long and boring...except when Sharron told me off.

Yes, I've been given my first good what for. I don't ask for help enough, that's my problem. When a customer asks me something i try to find an answer by myself instead of asking Sharron which is quicker I imagine...the only reason he told me off was because he was busy talking ot someone and i didn't want to interrupt him.. :( But afterwards I was all like "yea, i'll prove you wrong!" and such... Hahaha, and I managed to get two pieces of paper in a bin with my feet and exclaimed "YES!"...Sharron heard meand rewarded my effort by making me wipe down the glass cases...woohoo

And that's my day.
