He was a villain in the truest sense of the word, with no “redeemable” trait to speak of. He was as close to a cookie cutter villain without being Voldemort as they come in the HP books.

b. One of his/her best traits.
He is very real and honest.

c. One of his/her worst traits.
He’s takes sincere pleasure in ruining families.

d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.
Outside of Heim, he’s the hardest character to write for me because he’s so raw. He doesn’t pull his punches, and believes in social graces.

e. The story/thread/chapter/post/paragraph/tag/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character.
“Touchable”

f. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future.
I want to write him for JP because I like writing ficlets but I’m afraid if he becomes too fleshed out in back story, it will take away from his persona.

Well I know pretty much all there is to know about you and Snape, so how about...

Gellert!

Apologies for the lateness. no_peacocks_yet April 21 2008, 07:18:19 UTC
a. The fact that he was a well-intentioned person who could make things very difficult for a lot of people, and the fact, he was unwavering in his sense of right.

b. He sincerely believes he is working for the betterment of England, and to a certain extent he believes he’s doing this for Matthew.

c. He sincerely believes he’s working for the better of England and for his grandson.

d. He actually writes a lot like Lucius except with more feeling. He’s a hero character. You may not agree with that- but he is.

e. “Why? Was it not enough that you could hurt me? Are you so sick and deprived in your soul that you can’t stand to see beauty? You have to destroy everything beautiful in the world, starting with my grandson? Is it not enough that you did it with yours!? What kind of monster are you!”

f. Yep.

I think I've asked about Sev once already, so... Voldemort!

a. I was asked to, and honestly, the idea terrified me enough to say “hmm.” Very rarely am I frightened by something- and writing Tom scares me.

b. Riddle actually listens, probably better then Severus does and unlike Severus he feels right along with you. He cheers your accomplishments and mourns your losses. He can be your number one fan.

c. He listens and cheers for you because he’s discovering how to use you for his own purposes. He wants you to love him while he murders you.

d. Extremely difficult.

e. Nothing yet. Care to help coax him out of his shell?

f. …dunno.
