a. What initially prompted me to like the character enough to write about him/her.
His introduction in Deathly Hallows, just how completely defeated and stripped he was. Everything prior to that painted a beautiful and very self-absorbed man who didn’t care much for his family but to see him so laid bear- and to have him so heavily reliant on Narcissa hinted at a real character who could inspire that kind of devotion.
b. One of his/her best traits.
Under normal circumstances, he is a gentleman. He sincerely likes to make you feel comfortable.
c. One of his/her worst traits.
I don’t know if it’s his temper or his pride but one of those are crossed, he’s not content to let that slight go unavenged.
d. How easy/difficult I find it to write the character.
Normally, not hard. He’s not a thinker so he’s usually more fun to write then Severus.
e. The story/thread/chapter/post/paragraph/tag/phrase where I feel that I truly captured the character.
The Horcrux and the fall out. One part in particular, and I don’t recall if it was in IM or on the board but it was Draco pounding on his father’s chest- demanding his father back. He was clearly acting as Lucius Malfoy but again, like in DH, there was something there that made him worthy enough of his family.
f. My plans (if any) to write the character in the near future.
No, actually, what you all don’t know is that Heim plans to have him killed. Sorry kids. *waits for it*
