So as I am sitting here in the library working on my 7-8 page paper on Deafness and ESOL, my computer lays on my bed packed away waiting for me to drive to FedEx tomorrow to send it off to get repaired. There is a problem with the internal part of my computer that aids in the computer going between battery power and the AC adapter. In order for the computer to charge the battery, I would have to hold the cord into the computer, something that I sadly do not have time to do. Oh well.. *sigh* I called tech support at circuit city (since it is still under warranty there), and they will fix it as long as I send it to there repair place in Texas. So until it is repaired I must walk over to the library in order to check mail, do homework, and to goof around on the internet (whenever I get the chance). While at first this caused me MUCH stress (since these next couple of weeks will be torture since everything will be due), I have come to see the positive from this. Having no computer will make me become better with time management (something I seriously have problems with), and make sure my work is finished in a timely matter, since the library closes at 12am... no more 3am nights working on homework. Instead of goofing around on my computer, I can now sit down to finish reading the book I'm reading, and maybe be able to leave my room more to go out at night.
I also seemed to be more focused here... probably since these computers do not have AIM... which is what keeps me procrastinating on my homework the most.
I shall wait patiently for my computer to be fixed and return.
