michael, my mom and i also went on a cupquest (wow where did i pull that from!?) when shopping for wedding "cake". we also tried new york cupcakes at bell square. they did a sample tray to die for! little painters palette of every frosting and little bite sized chunks of vanilla or chocolate cake. cupcake royale was a bit too uppity for me. it was good, but i felt like they thought they were the shiznit. i am glad you found your soul(-food) mate! maybe i will share in your delight ...
