So I'm going into the second day of teaching First Year Composition. I'm teaching the section on argument analysis for the class that I've been shadowing, most other GAs are just teaching a few days. The teacher I'm working with thought it would be a good idea if I taught a whole section to get the feel of working something all the way through. We'll see how that goes. First day I was a nervous wreck. The night before we had massive bugs running the Oregon Trail through our apartment straight at Ashlee's feet, so I was not well rested. Also I know I had massive pit stains due to the fact that the university turned off the air coditioning throughout its buildings because of the cold weather last week. I'm counting down the hours until Thursday when it goes back down in the 50s and all the insects die and sweat staying in the skin. But nothing disasterous happened in the classes, I'm learning and getting better as I go I hope. They have an assignment we're going over today about an artile calling for a lower drinking age. Hopefully they have something to say about it because otherwise I got nothin.

This whole grad school has been going pretty well lately. I'm encouraged.
