~The official letter arrived in St. Germain on Wednesday--we got the house! :) I'm super psyched. 136 W Hewitt-- right across from Graveraet--come visit! :)
~I have a new favorite coffeeplace. No, it's no longer EBay. Borders. That's one of three things I actually miss about Home Depot--my daily trip to Borders.Today when I was there, I met a former EBay employee--he said he worked there for a few weeks right when it first opened, but had enough of Ray's "quirks" as he oh-so-politely put it (I would have said BS) and said "ok, see ya". He was cool. He gave me a pretty sweet reccommendation for a drink (actually, he said, "you look like you want a cold-brewed Marble Mocha". It sounded amazing, and it was!) and gave me a large when I ordered a medium (I think. If it wasn't, it was the biggest freaking medium I've ever seen.) It was still cheaper for what I'd get at EBay, too. I dunno, maybe I'm just uber bitter about that place right now (well, downtown anyway--Todd's place is still cool because Todd's a normal guy trying to run a business to take care of his family), but where else better to vent bitterness than my journal, eh?
~I love boat rides. And, as much as I rant about my family, we really do have fun together.
~So. We all keep slipping and calling Jak George. :( Jak is adorable, and he's fun, and he's cuddly for at least a few minutes seconds... but he's not George, and we all miss him terribly.
I should get to bed. I work in the morning. Unfortunately... I'm still waiting to hear from Mark. Lets see if that happens (Sorry, I'm not willing to divulge the details of this...)
